About the Artist
Nicolas is a producer from Bordeaux whose musical roots go back to the records spinning in his family living room and long Sunday evenings spent glued to FIP. Those early impressions — jazz chords, dusty grooves, unexpected blends — still echo in everything he makes.
He moved through piano, drums and clarinet lessons, but the real spark came from the music he sought out on his own. Albums like Tourist and Première Classe became the starting point for a collection built on warm brass, electric pianos, sample culture and rhythms drifting between house, hip-hop, trip-hop and the edges of techno.
At 15 he picked up turntables and tried scratching for a while, before curiosity pushed him behind the curtain: how were these tracks actually built? Early software experiments in Hip Hop eJay and FruityLoops eventually led him to Ableton, hardware, and the hands-on world of synths and drum machines.
His sound today carries that whole lineage — jazz-soaked textures, groove-led structures, and a quiet nod to the pioneers who shaped the path he’s walking. It’s electronic music made with both craft and affection, grounded in the influences that first set him in motion.
